Started playing play money in high school, sold about 10 millions worth (about $300) and never looked back. Did some deposit bonuses on EmpirePoker (a PartyPoker skin), so only deposited the initial $50 in my career.

This should be year on or about 6 for me. I think the 1st time I started playing poker was play money sngs on party poker. My friend and I would bet back and forth $5 if we could get to the top 3. Thinking back to it i'm pretty sure you were like 95% to cash if you just sat out as people were open shoving left and right but w/e. From there i started playing small home games until i played say 3 days a week and i finally put some money on the net I think i blew like $20 twice before I read a couple articles on the internet about internet poker.

I have been playing poker seriously now for about 5 years I would say.   I started playing a lot my freshman year of college on-line.  I was always intrigued with gambling at a young age.  With that being said gambling was not always fun for me as I did loose my bank account at the age of 17 betting on sports.  I quickly learned my lesson though from that and do not gamble on sports games anymore up playing all the different card games with my family( 7 card stud, rummy, 5 card poker, etc).

I’ve been playing poker seriously for about five years now, and playing for a living for two and a half years. My love for gambling was sparked by my Dad who would play all kinds of games with my brother and me. In the evening after our chores were done, the nickel/dime action got pretty intense at our kitchen table. We would play a lot of blackjack, hearts, and any kind of poker from stud to Indian (ironically we never played hold 'em).

My grandfather was not able to walk, so when we transferred him to bed for the night I would often find aces tucked in the cushion of his chair. We were simply playing for nickels, but make no bones about it, neither of us wanted to lose.?? I started getting serious with Texas Hold Em back in 2001.
